Andrew Greene Honored as a Teacher Hero
iEARN Sierra Leone's own Andrew Greene was honored by the
organization My
Hero as an outstanding mentor and teacher for youth in Sierra
Leone.
My
Hero "is a not for profit educational web project that
celebrates the best of humanity. [Its] mission is to enlighten and
inspire people of all ages with an ever-growing internet archive
of hero stories from around the world."

2003 - "Crossing Boundaries - Bremen
Peace Award" awarded to Andrew Greene as coordinator of i*EARN
Sierra Leone.
Within the Bremen Peace Award procedure of the Threshold Foundation
die schwelle,
the Threshold will publish in November a book "The Courage
to Cross Thresholds" containing 29 examples of convincing examples
of international peace work, among them also a presentation of Andrew
Green´s commitment within i*EARN Sierra Leone. An online version
of the book can be found in December at the Threshold website.
